YAKAMA INDIAN RESERVATION HORSES

​RENO AND MONTANA HORSES

HORSES:  I've traveled all over the west and had the opportunity to see some pretty cool mustangs.  The easiest accessible herds are just outside of Reno and can be approached to within easy photo distances.  There are actually flashing warning signs that say to be on the lookout for wild horses.  

Another area, close to home that I've found very interesting is on the Yakama Indian Reservation between Toppenish Washington and Goldendale.  Herds of horses can be seen from the road but accessibility is the problem.  Still you can get some great shots there.

One of my hobbies is photography.  I enjoy taking photos of everything but wildlife, scenery and weddings are my specialties.  I have a Sony A7 mirrorless camera and a Canon 60D as a backup.  Check out some of my photos
